Pizza D'Z opened on Slater Avenue back in 1983, and we're still in the same spot. Same recipes, same kitchen, same corner of Fountain Valley. Forty years later, people who came in as kids now bring their own kids. That's the whole story, really.

The first kitchen on Slater

An Italian family opened Pizza D'Z in 1983 with a simple idea: cook everything from scratch and treat everyone who walks in like a neighbor. Fountain Valley liked that, and they kept coming back.

Chefs who never left

Our chefs have been at the same stations for over 30 years, same techniques, same recipes. When guests say the food tastes exactly as they remember it, that's no accident.

The legendary giant slice

The giant slice earned its reputation honestly — oversized by design, golden-crusted, and exactly what you want after you've heard about it your whole life.

Where Fountain Valley celebrates

Graduations, birthdays, baby showers, Sunday dinners. Our dining room seats up to 90 and it's seen all of it, and the guest of honor always leaves with a free dessert. Families have been celebrating here for decades.
